Aimee Rust, MS, LCPC, LMFT
Aimee graduated in 2001 from Colorado State University with a Master of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has worked as a therapist in several different settings including a family therapy clinic at Colorado State University, a family outpatient center, a school-based therapeutic program, and private practice. In 2012, Aimee completed an externship for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples. In 2014, she became one of the owners of Yellowstone Counseling Center. She is currently a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, the American Counseling Association, and the Association for Play Therapy. Her training and experience allows her to work with clients of all ages in individual, couple, family and group therapy. She has given presentations on several topics including successful strategies for dual-earner couples, development of positive relationships between parents and children, stress management, depression, bullying, mental health issues in schools, and sexually reactive behaviors in children. Aimee currently works with clients addressing relationship issues, parenting, stress management, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma and more.
