ALAN C. OSTBY, PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, obsessions / compulsions, stress management, meditation, sleep disorders, and clarification of life goals. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a Master of Science in Human Development and Mental Health Counseling from Montana State University - Bozeman, and a Master of Arts in Psychology and Politics from Yale University. His Bachelor's Degree, Magna Cum Laude, is from Macalester College. His doctoral dissertation is a theoretical development of Wilfred Bion's ground-breaking psychoanalytic perspective. Dr. Ostby's Master's Thesis is a quantitative analysis of dreams and self-exploration, as well as therapist empathy, based on the person-centered theory of Carl Rogers. He has extensive experience with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Ostby is a Past President of the Montana Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors Association. Services offered by Dr. Ostby include psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups, as well as complete psychological evaluations, including assessments of intelligence, memory, personality, attention, and hyperactivity. Dr. Ostby's theoretical orientation is cognitive/behavioral, psychoanalytic, and Jungian. He believes that any good psychotherapy includes cognitive and behavioral methods, as well as a focus on the systems in which each person functions - family, culture, society.

KELLY L. CHRISTY, MS, LCPC, is a 1992 graduate of Montana State University - Billings with a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Extended Studies. She began her career at the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch in Billings, Montana as a psychotherapist for severly emotionally disturbed children and adolescents in the Intensive Care Unit where she provided individual, group, and family therapy. She has been in private practice since 1993. She contracted with South Central Treatment Associates for several years providing treatment for sexual offenders, victims of sexual abuse, and sexually reactive children. In 2000, Ms. Christy and her colleague, Alan Ostby, opened the Yellowstone Counseling Center. Ms. Christy continues to specialize in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, eating disorders, victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, family, and parenting therapy. Ms. Christy has presented locally on numerous sexaul abuse topics related to children. She is a member of Montana Clinical Mental Health Association, Association for Play Therapy, American Counseling Association, Billings Sexual Abuse Team, and Billings ZONTA.

AIMEE RUST, MS, LCPC, has been working as a psychotherapist since 1999 in several different settings including a major university, a family outpatient center, a school-based therapeutic program, and private practice. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. This training and experience has allowed her to work with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, couple, family, and group therapy. She has given presentations on successful strategies for dual-earner couples and development of positive relationships between parents and children. Aimee currently works with clients addressing relationship issues, parenting, stress management, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression.

THERESA BLAZEK, MS, LCPC, received her Master's in Counseling from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 1993. She worked in a community mental health center for eight years and had a private practice for three years while living in Oklahoma. Theresa participated in the development and implementation of a crisis Response Team for mental health while in Oklahoma, she responded to Oklahoma City tornados, and did crises intervention and therapy with the family members of Oklahoma City bombing victims. Theresa also participated in the planning and development of a child abuse advocacy center while in Oklahoma City. She has worked extensively with domestic violence victims and with women's issues. Theresa recently relocated to Billings and has worked at Yellowstone Counseling Center since January 2006. She works with individuals, couples, and groups treating depression, anxiety, abuse, domestic violence, grief, and relationship issues.

ASHLEY ABBEY, MSW, LCSW, has been working in the mental health field since 1994 and as a psychotherapist since 1999. She received her Master of Social Work Degree from Colorado State University where she also received specialty training in the area of eating disorders. Ashley has also worked in the medical arena where she provided counseling and support to patients and families who were diagnosed with cancer, chronic illness, pain, high-risk pregnancies/infertility, and overall grief and loss. Ashley continues to specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, postpartum depression, and infertility. She also provides parenting education and support utilizing the Parenting with Love and Logic curriculum.

SALLY G. GRUNST, MS, LCPC, has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Concordia College, St. Paul, MN. She achieved her Masters Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from MSU - Billings. Sally has 12 years experience working with 3, 4, and 5-year-olds in the pre-school setting prior to becoming a therapist. In the therapy setting Sally has worked with adolescents, 12 to 18 years of age in private practice, in the school setting and in residential. Sally teaches Anger Management individually and she offers a group anger management class for females once a week. She has been teaching anger management for female inmates at Yellowstone County Detention Center since 2007. Sally addresses issues of depression, anxiety, anger, self esteem, coping and stress, victims of abuse, relationships, PTSD, domestic violence, and goal setting. Sally does play therapy with children and is trained in Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT).

GAYLE WASH, MS, LCPC, received her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from MSU - Bozeman in 1989. She began her career at Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch working as a psychotherapist for severely emotionally disturbed adolescents. While at YBGR, she held the positions of Clinical Case Manager, Clinical Program Director, and Consulting Therapist. She also facilitated groups for chemical dependency and sexual victimization. From 1989 to the present, Gayle has contracted with South Central Treatment Center as a psychotherapist working with adolescent and adult sex offenders and their families. While at SCTA, she worked extensively with sexual abuse victims, sex offenders, families of incest, couples and groups. Gayle received her Montana State License as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in 1990. She is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Gayle began her private practice in 1992. Since that time, she has provided psychotherapy for individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and victims of abuse, with an emphasis in family and marital counseling. Gayle treats individuals from the ages of 10 through adulthood.

TAYLOR A. MAYER, PhD, LCPC, is a 1995 graduate of Montana State University - Billings with a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Dr. Mayer received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Walden University in 2005. He has worked at Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch since 1994 as a Psychotherapist and Psychological Resident and has been responsible for the development and implementation of the youth’s Master Treatment Plans, identifying DSM-IV diagnoses, providing clinical leadership to the staff of the treatment team, completing detailed social histories, intake assessments, discharge/aftercare plans, discharge summaries, and Psychological Evaluations. Dr. Mayer is on the Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Rocky Mountain College in Billings instructing the Behavioral Dynamics course in the Physician Assistant Program. Dr. Mayer is presently pursuing Montana licensure as a Psychologist. He works with individuals of all ages, couples and families for a wide variety of issues such as ADD/ADHD, anxiety, behavior modification, bi-polar, abuse, conduct/disruptive disorders, depression, developmental disabilities, dissociative disorder, domestic violence, gender identity, grief, head injury patients, men’s issues, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, parenting skills, personality disorder, PTSD, and the terminally ill.

JAMEE FREE, M.Div., MS, M.Ed, LCPC, has counseled with adolescents, children, and their families since 2003. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Montana State University - Billings. She also holds a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Campbell University in North Carolina, as well as a Master of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in School Counseling both from Montana State University - Billings. Jamee has served as an Associate Pastor for Youth and Children in North Carolina working with several youth in the areas of spirituality and pastoral care, as well as coping with divorce, stress, peer pressure, and other children/adolescent issues. Jamee moved back to Montana in 2006 and began working at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch becoming a primary therapist in 2008. While at YBGR, Jamee provided individual, group and family therapy. In addition to Yellowstone Counseling Center, Jamee began work in 2010 as a Treatment Service Clinician for a Comprehensive School and Community Treatment (CSCT) Program. Jamee has experience in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, thinking errors, attachment disorders, stress and anger issues, and relationship difficulties. Jamee also has extensive experience in working with oppositional and defiant behaviors, especially with adolescents that are resistant to therapy. Jamee is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and during her time at YBGR served as a DBT trainer. Jamee provides counseling to individuals (ages five through adulthood), couples, groups and families.

JANEIL E. ANDERSON, LCPC, BCPC, is a licensed and board certified professional counselor with 11 years experience working in the mental health field. She began her professional career by participating in the planning and development of the local Community Crisis Center. She then went to the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, Community Based Program, where she oversaw an individualized, multi-disciplinary treatment team for each youth on her caseload. She also provided individual, group, and family therapy, and crisis intervention when needed. Currently, she has made improving the lives of males and females living with infertility her area of expertise. Janeil provides compassionate, supportive therapy services for individuals and couples diagnosed with infertility, as well as, supportive therapy services for their loved ones.  She also specializes in all dimensions of pregnancy loss, miscarriage, as well as, counseling for individuals and couples interested in third party family – building, including surrogacy and egg donation.  She is an active member of Resolve, the National Infertility Organization, and is listed on their website as is listed on their website as a professional service member.  She also participates in the Mental Health Professionals Group of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, which allows her to keep up to date on the latest issues involved in infertility treatment.

ANGELA MATTA, LCSW, LAC, received her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies degree from Montana State University - Billings in 2004, with a thematic concentration in Sociology. She worked as a Youth and Family Support Worker at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch Community Based Services. Ms. Matta was inspired to go back to school and chose Walla Walla College - Billings, where she received her Masters of Social Work degree in 2006. Ms. Matta Began working at Rimrock Foundation and there received her License in Addiction Counseling and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2009. Ms. Matta has been providing individual, family, marital, and group counseling since 2006, specializing in the treatment of individuals, families, and adolescents healing from addictions, trauma, grief and abuse. She has acquired specific training and experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Ms. Matta is an experienced group therapy facilitator in the treatment of addictions. Ms. Matta has recently completed Level 1 EMDR training, which is a very effective treatment modality for PTSD, trauma, anxiety and stress.
