Desire' Meismer, MS, LCPC
I believe every person has a resiliency and strength to pull from in order to achieve an enjoyable and fulfilling life. Throughout our lives, however, we encounter painful, traumatic, and difficult scenarios that leave us feeling hopeless or stuck. Sometimes people need outside support to tap in to their full potential and to overcome challenges. I can offer a nonjudgmental space to explore behavioral patterns, internal conversations, and emotions that may be holding you back.
I graduated from Montana State University-Billing with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Service, and later with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in the mental health field since 2005. My experience has been with in-patient treatment, group home treatment, school-based therapy, and parenting skills support, as well as individual, group, and family therapy. My background includes working with children with severely emotionally disturbed diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, oppositional defiant disorder, bipolar disorder, etc.
